From the doorstep you will find a network of footpaths and walks to enjoy, or why not explore Ashbourne and all this beautiful area has to offer? Ashbourne is rich in original cobbled lanes, old market stalls and grand Georgian buildings lining the streets. It also boasts a great selection of restaurants, interesting shops and traditional coaching inns to enjoy. Also within easy reach are the famous historic houses of Chatsworth and Haddon Hall, renowned for their architecture and beautiful gardens. This really is a great base from which to explore the nearby Peak District delights such as Matlock and Matlock Bath, which has been attracting visitors since the 17th century.
